The MVDB - Adding New Data
In this example we are inputting a new Subject along with it's new Address/Web record and Phone/E-Mail record.
Also, We have instructed the Calandex to have the new Subject 'Join the Group'
(the current Group, in this case the Bennett Family) after the new Subject is saved.
Press the 'Go ->' button to go into Edit Mode.
The link below shows the view after the 'Go ->' button is pushed.
Go to View
- The Address Type.. and Phone/E-Mail Type.. Edit Boxes:
are always Edited in the upper-left edit box area.
These are shown in the:
' Address/Web -> Subject' and 'Phone/E-Mail ->Subject' boxes respectively.
The drop-down boxes will contain their default data if 'Auto Data In' is checked
(- not checked here -)
on the 'Defaults' page.
(see Populate 'drop-down' Lists
and turn on/off auto-enter during Input Mode
(Go to 'Defaults' )
After you press the 'Save' button, the 'Enroll a Subject' function is implemented
- just after the 'Enroll' button is pressed (since 'Join the Group ?' is checked).
(see Associating Subjects with Groups Go to Info )
Note: The color of the Fields change when in Edit Mode.
- Use the 'Tab' key to move around sequentially.
- When you have multiple Address/Web and Phone/E-Mail Records -
they appear in alphabetical order according to the 'Type' Field
Put a space or a number (0) as the first character in the 'Type' Field,
This will make this record be the first viewed when you call their Subject or Group.
